Originally, this pub was located in County Cork for 100 years. After it had closed down, the entire bar was split into pieces and shipped to Vienna. Today, Flanagan’s Irish Pub is one of the most visited bars in the city. It attracts a lot of young people from Vienna, as well as many tourists from all around the world.
Visitors can order fresh Guinness beer from the tap and try the Flanagan’s whisky imported directly from Ireland. They also serve amazing food here. Make sure to try some of their signature dishes, including chicken wings with sour and hot sauce, bangers and mash, burgers, and rib-eye steaks.

Located just a short walk from the main train station, Travel Shack is the most famous backpacker’s bar in Vienna. The atmosphere is great, and the drinks are quite cheap. Expect, travellers and locals, snacks like toast and pizza, sports screenings, strong shots and cocktails, and karaoke nights.
The great thing about Travel Shack is that it works every day of the week and the parties they throw here are mind-blowing. It’s no wonder that some like to call it the backpacker’s paradise. If you want to chill, they have a pool table and a separate room for smokers.
If you want to have a beer and watch a good movie, Top Kino is the place to go.
Located in an old building, this bar has high ceilings and is nicely furnished with vintage sofas, chairs, and coffee tables. After a drink or two, head out to the showroom that hosts screenings of award-winning movies from the famous Cannes film festival and Tricky Women Animation film festival.
