Israel: Adventure Beyond The Dead Sea

Have you ever wanted to go on an adventure? Israel might not be the first place that comes to mind when you’re thinking about booking an adventure holiday. Hopefully, this article will change that.

From skydiving to motorsports, biking, surfing, water diving at the amazing blue waters of Eilat or climbing the many mountain ranges in Israel, there are many extreme sports and adventure activities to do in the region.

You can explore the history of Israel by bicycle, jeep or even horseback riding if you fancy a more luxurious method of travel. If camping under the stars isn’t for you, one can stay at the many luxurious hotels at the Dead Sea and spend time at their special spas.

Elsewhere you can take a tour of the Arava and visit the different kibbutzim that grow produce for import. In the Arava there are also places that you can see the desert animal life. And of course, one can climb the amazing Masada roman temple and see the sunrise or sunset sometimes even listening to music at the many concerts and music festivals available in the desert and the Dead Sea.

Go back in time 

Finally, adventure tour of Israel can be done at the many ancient cities such as Tzfad, Jaffa, Akko, Jerusalem and Nazareth. There, walking through the mystical alleyways and the cobblestone streets and visiting the oldest synagogues and churches can take you back in time.
