Ideally Christmas

Christmas can seem like a task at this time of year. One of the biggest worries we have is buying the right presents and where the money is coming from to buy them? Although, Christmas is meant to be about family time, enjoying each others company and simply being happy with life. I’ve had this experience with my family this week at the Ideal Home Show at Christmas.

The show ran between the 19th and 23rd of November which was held at London’s Earl’s Court exhibition centre. You definitely could not walk past the centre without knowing Christmas was on it’s way.  If the front of the building was anything to go by, I couldn’t wait to see what the inside had to offer. The building was covered in Christmas trees, a snowy floor and even a sleigh which you could have a photograph in.

The atmosphere within the centre was electric and very festive! Everything that you could have ever needed to make your Christmas day special was available at the show. Ranging from furniture, decorations, presents and even food; the possibilities were endless! If that wasn’t enough, there was a ice rink in the middle of the centre with lights and music.

With two exciting levels to explore, the show had something for everyone, not matter what age. There were demonstrations happening around every stall, never leaving a chance for a dull moment the whole visit. Although the show was very busy, it was simple to walk around as the stalls were organised into sections for the public. The food section of the show was by far my favourite; it was sample galore and the smells of food and drink were exceptional.

Although the show is no longer available at Earl’s Court, it’s available again next year. This gives you a whole year to plan your visit! I would definitely recommend going here, even if it just is for the atmosphere, you will leave feeling very festive and ready for the big day.
